Sublime Chocolate Muffins

The sublime chocolate muffin is ideal for chocolate lovers. Bake these delicious cupcakes; they are a great way to show your feelings to your loved ones.

  • 100 grams wheat flour
  • 40 grams cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 180 grams raw sugar
  • 70 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 1/4 cups whipping cream
  • 120 milliliters cow's milk
  • 2 tablespoons cajeta, in essence
  • 5 sticks chocolate
  • 1 cup icing sugar

  • Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  • Sift the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Set them aside.
  • Beat the egg with the sugar and vegetable oil until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Gradually incorporate the flour mixture, alternating with the milk and the whipping cream.
  • Pour a little of the mixture into cupcake liners, filling 1/4 of the mold and placing chocolate chips in the center. Add a bit more batter until filling 3/4 of the mold.
  • Bake at 200ºC for 10 minutes. Lower the temperature to 180ºC and cook for 15 more minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool.
  • To decorate, in a deep bowl, pour the cream cheese and half of the powdered sugar. Mix with a whisk.
  • Add the cajeta essence and mix again. If the consistency is not as desired, add a little more powdered sugar.
  • Decorate using a piping bag to create a rosette on top, previously filling it with the mixture made from powdered sugar and cream cheese.
