Mix the following 3 ingredients, all liquids, and set aside.
Combine the dry ingredients from step 1 with the liquid ingredients from step 2 and beat for 10 minutes if using a whisk, or 5 minutes if using a mixer.
Place the cupcake liners in the muffin pan and fill the mixture only halfway, as they will rise.
Place in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180°C.
