You have to try these spectacular blueberry muffins. They have a bit of sugar on top, giving them a crunchy layer before you taste the delicious blueberry cake inside.
Mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. (Note: still reserve the ingredients for the topping).
In a deep bowl, mix the oil, egg, and milk. Stir until well combined.
Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and stir. Divide the mixture among the muffin liners.
Prepare the topping mixture with half a cup of sugar, 1/3 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of butter, and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir a little and place on top of each muffin before baking.
Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.
