Spectacular Blueberry Muffins

You have to try these spectacular blueberry muffins. They have a bit of sugar on top, giving them a crunchy layer before you taste the delicious blueberry cake inside.

  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 baking powder
  • 1/3 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cups cow's milk
  • 1 1/4 cups blueberry
  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the topping mixture
  • 1/3 cups flour, for the topping mixture
  • 1/4 cups unsalted butter, for the topping mixture
  • 1 cinnamon powder, for the topping mixture

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 F).
  • Place the cupcake liners in a cupcake tray.
  • Mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. (Note: still reserve the ingredients for the topping).
  • In a deep bowl, mix the oil, egg, and milk. Stir until well combined.
  • Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and stir. Divide the mixture among the muffin liners.
  • Prepare the topping mixture with half a cup of sugar, 1/3 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of butter, and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir a little and place on top of each muffin before baking.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.
