Prepare the pâte brisée and place it in the tart pan. Prick lightly with a fork in several places.
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Cut the apples in half, remove the core, and make many thin surface cuts on the curved side.
Arrange them on the pastry, cut side up.
The almonds can be ground in the food processor.
Blend the eggs, cream, Calvados, flour, and ground almonds in a blender. Pour this mixture over the apples and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the tart is set and lightly golden.
