Oatmeal Cookies with Milk Chocolate Chips

This back-to-school season, treat your little ones to these delicious oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips that they will love. They are very soft and also rich in fiber. A delight for your little ones' palate.

  • 1 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Great Value® plain salt
  • 3/4 cups butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1/4 cups Great Value® granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  • Cream the butter with the brown sugar and the refined sugar. Add the vanilla and the egg and beat for a few minutes. Add the oats and beat until combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients and finally the chocolate chips, being careful not to overmix.
  • Shape into balls by hand and place on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for about 20 to 25 minutes.
