Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Grease a mold.
Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and set aside.
Mix the sugar, egg yolks, salt, baking powder, orange zest, flour, and orange juice until a uniform batter is obtained.
Fold the whipped egg whites into the uniform mixture gently, pour the batter into a mold, and bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Remove the mold from the oven immediately to prevent sticking and let it cool.
