  • 1 1/4 cups wheat flour
  • 3/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons table salt
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 1/2 cups butter, of peanut
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar, white for decorating

  • Preheat the oven to 190 C.
  • Sift the flour together with the baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, cream the butter with the peanut butter, 1/2 cup of white sugar, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Add the egg and beat well, then incorporate the vanilla.
  • Gradually add the sifted ingredients, mixing until you have a manageable dough.
  • Shape into balls of 3 centimeters in diameter and roll in the remaining sugar.
  • Place the balls, separated by 5 cm from each other, on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Lightly press with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Let cool for a few minutes on the sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
