In a medium saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter and add the cup of sugar and the cup of piloncillo, stirring constantly until it changes to a golden color and has a thick consistency.
Add the peanuts to the caramel in the saucepan and stir well until everything is well incorporated.
Pour the mixture into the dish and flatten with a damp wooden rolling pin until smooth. Let cool.
Once cooled, unmold and cut into pieces.
