Fruit Tart

Delicious tartlet, very easy to cook and delightful to eat. This fruit tart recipe tastes delicious and is ideal for a day when you want to impress.

  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 250 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 1/2 flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • fresh fruits, for decoration

  • In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar using a fork. Once well combined, add the eggs one by one and beat gently. Finally, add the flour; you can use your hands to mix the ingredients, making sure not to beat too hard. Form a smooth dough, wrap it in plastic, and let it rest for half an hour in the refrigerator.
  • To make the pastry cream, bring the water and condensed milk to a boil. In another bowl, dissolve the egg yolks with a little water, then add the cornstarch and vanilla extract. Once it reaches the first boil, add this mixture and stir constantly until it thickens.
  • Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out in a tart pan. Use a fork to poke the dough so it doesn't puff up. Bake at 180° for 15 minutes, or until slightly golden, then let it cool. While it cools, cut the fruit to your liking. Once the crust is cool, fill it with pastry cream and decorate it with fruit as you wish.
