Petacón Mango Pie

  • 1 cup mango, petacón in cubes
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 package cookies
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature

  • Crush the cookie and mix it with the butter to form a paste. Place it in a glass or ceramic pie dish to create the base.
  • Blend the mango with the condensed milk, set aside.
  • Soak the gelatin in a glass of cold water. Once hydrated, heat it for a few seconds in the microwave until it achieves a liquid consistency (do not overheat).
  • Pour into the mango and milk mixture and blend again until the gelatin is well mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into the cookie base and refrigerate until set.
