Strawberry Tart

It's an excellent dessert to enjoy at any time, and it's very simple to prepare because you don't need an oven to make it. It has an amazing cookie crust and a cream cheese filling that complements the flavor of the strawberries very well. Don't miss trying it.

  • 1 1/2 packages María cookies
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cups water, boiling
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 kilos strawberries
  • 1 stick butter

  • Crush the cookies (you can use a blender), they should be finely crushed and place them in the mold you will use.
  • Melt the butter and pour it into the mold with the cookies, mix them well and shape it (like a pie), pressing down on the sides and bottom of the mold with some of the cookie mixture. Place the mold in the refrigerator while you finish the rest.
  • Soak the gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes and then add the boiling water.
  • Boil the condensed milk and evaporated milk, turn off the heat when it starts boiling, add the gelatin and let it cool.
  • Once the mixture we boiled is cool, pour it into the mold with the help of a spoon (so the cookie base doesn’t crumble) and place it in the refrigerator until it sets, then add some halved strawberries and let it set completely.
  • You can decorate with strawberries on top and enjoy.
