  • 2 cups María cookies, crumbled
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter , melted
  • 1 package lime gelatin
  • 2 cups water, heat
  • 1/4 cups evaporated milk

  • Mix the cookies, sugar, and butter.
  • Reserve 1/4 cup of this mixture and pour the rest into a baking dish, pressing down with your hands.
  • Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water and refrigerate until it slightly sets.
  • Add the evaporated milk to the gelatin and beat on high speed for 7-10 minutes.
  • Pour over the cookie crust and top with the reserved 1/4 cup of cookie mixture.
  • Refrigerate until set and ready to serve.
