Poinsettia Gelatin

Christmas is a time to gather family, and what better way to do it than with a delicious milk gelatin decorated with poinsettia leaves, undoubtedly a fun, original, and flavorful dessert.

  • 1 can condensed milk, (397 g) for the milk gelatin
  • 1 can evaporated milk, (360 ml) for the milk gelatin
  • 1 1/2 cups cow's milk, for the milk gelatin
  • 4 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder, (28 grams) melted and hydrated
  • 1/2 envelopes strawberry gelatin, 25 g
  • 1/2 cups water, hot
  • 1/2 envelopes lime gelatin, 25 g
  • 1/2 cups water, hot
  • 1/2 envelopes pineapple gelatin, 25 g
  • 1/2 cups water, hot

  • Blend the condensed milk with the evaporated milk, then gradually add the gelatin.
  • Pour a quarter of the milk gelatin into a mold. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
  • Dissolve the strawberry, lemon, and pineapple gelatin packets in hot water. Set aside.
  • Using a leaf-shaped cookie cutter and another round one, cut the milk gelatin into the shape of a poinsettia. Remove the cut pieces to create spaces.
  • Fill the leaves with the strawberry gelatin and some with lemon to make the flower petals. Fill the center with the pineapple gelatin. Refrigerate until set.
  • Pour the rest of the milk gelatin over the already set gelatin. Refrigerate until set and unmold.
