Chocolate Marble Cake

I make this cake when I'm invited to my friends' house for dinner. The marbling looks very nice, and it tastes really good.

  • 250 grams Gloria® butter unsalted butter
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 225 grams flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons cow's milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar

  • Beat the butter until creamy, gradually incorporate the sugar until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the eggs one by one, and mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Sift the dry ingredients (salt, baking powder, flour) and mix them.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the preparation. Keep mixing and incorporate the milk.
  • Divide the batter in two. To one part of the batter, add cocoa and mix very well.
  • Alternately pour a tablespoon of the mixture without cocoa and the mixture with cocoa into a previously greased and floured mold.
  • Bake at 180° C for 45 minutes.
