Cinnamon, Clove, and Apple Bread

Simple and nutritious bread for energetic breakfasts that, in addition to providing many benefits to the body, has a wonderful flavor of cinnamon, apple, and clove that makes it irresistible and unique. Its fluffy texture will make you unable to resist trying it.

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon clove powder
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking soda, of sodium
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder, (Royal, Rexal, or any brand you know)
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, for serving
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 apples
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, sliced almonds

  • With the help of a strainer or sifter, mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl, except the sugar.
  • In another smaller bowl, mix the melted butter (warm, not hot), the sugar, and incorporate the eggs one by one.
  • Incorporate the liquid mixture into the dry mixture until a creamy paste forms. You should mix gently and not overbeat, being careful not to leave lumps or bits of flour unbroken. (I always mix in the same direction against the clock hands).
  • On the other hand, peel the apples and remove the cores. Then slice them into thin pieces. Add these to the cake mixture.
  • Place parchment paper in two loaf pans. Pour the mixture into the pans until they are three-quarters full. Place the loaves in the oven at 200 degrees for approximately 50 minutes. Let them cool and remove from the molds.
