Apple Cinnamon Cake

For me, the combination of apple and cinnamon is perfect. This recipe has been made in my family for years.

  • 1 green apple
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cups Gloria® unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 cups honey
  • 1/2 cups cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon

  • Preheat the oven to 160° C. Grease a mold with butter and flour it.
  • Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into cubes. Set them aside in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs. Add them to the apples. Add the butter and honey.
  • Incorporate the sugar. Beat.
  • In another bowl, mix the salt, flour, cinnamon, and baking powder. Gradually add the cornstarch while mixing continuously. Slowly add the liquid mixture you prepared earlier.
  • Pour the mixture into a mold and bake for 40 minutes.
