Fruit Cake

This is a vanilla cake recipe, very versatile, that can be modified by adding chocolate, any fruit extract or flavoring, etc. This time it takes a different twist by adding fruit to the mixture, making it delicious!!

  • 500 grams flour
  • 250 grams Gloria® butter unsalted butter
  • 250 grams wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 10 tablespoons cow's milk, you can substitute with mango or peach juice
  • 1 mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1 peach, peeled and chopped
  • 1 Golden Delicious apple, peeled and chopped
  • 40 grams sugar
  • 2 drops lime juice
  • 1 dash water

  • Put the fruit in a pot, add the sugar, lemon juice, and a splash of water, cook for a few minutes until the apple is soft.
  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • Cream the butter with the sugar, add the vanilla extract and the fruit juice or milk.
  • Mix the flour and baking powder, gradually incorporating into the butter mixture.
  • Once everything is well mixed, add the prepared fruit mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into the already greased pan.
  • Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 180° C, it should have a golden color.
  • Let it cool and drizzle the cake with the syrup from the fruits.
