Simple Banana Loaf

I share with you my favorite homemade loaf recipe. You will love it!

  • 90 grams Gloria® butter unsalted butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon rum
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 190 grams flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk

  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cream the butter and gradually add the sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, continue beating. Add the vanilla, rum, and cinnamon. Beat for five minutes until fluffy.
  • Reduce the mixer speed, add the flour in three parts, pouring a little milk at each stage.
  • Grease a loaf pan.
  • Turn off the mixer and fold in the banana, stirring gently. Pour into the pan.
  • Bake the loaf in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
