Marble Cake

  • 1 kilo self-rising flour
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa

  • Beat the butter with the sugar until a homogeneous mass is formed.
  • In the previously beaten mixture, add the half a kilo of eggs one by one.
  • Beat this mixture until it forms a homogeneous batter.
  • To the previous mixture, add the vanilla and continue beating until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour and beat to mix it evenly.
  • Add the milk as the flour integrates and beat until fully mixed.
  • Now add the baking powder together with the flour.
  • Beat the mixture until it is uniform and small bubbles appear in the batter; this ensures it will be fluffy and rise.
  • Butter the molds and then flour them, this prevents sticking and allows you to remove the cake without issues.
  • Separate half of the batter into the two molds, so you will have the vanilla flavor of our delicious cake.
  • Now dissolve the cocoa with warm water; once well dissolved, add it to the batter.
  • Beat the mixture until you see bubbles in the mixture again.
  • Add the mixture to the molds that contain the vanilla mixture.
  • Preheat the oven for 7 minutes at 180°C. The cake should be cooked for about 1 hour.
