  • 1 cup butter, in medium cubes, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cups cornstarch
  • 1/2 cups milk powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup water
  • butter, melted, to grease the mold

  • Use a hand whisk to mix the butter and sugar. When the mixture is smooth, add the eggs one by one until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients, starting with the baking powder, then the cornstarch, powdered milk, and flour. Mix until lumps are gone, then add the water and mix very well. Set aside.
  • Grease a rectangular mold with butter and sprinkle with flour. Pour in the mixture and bake at 180 °C for 60 minutes.
  • Serve on a wooden board and decorate with red fruits
