Yogurt and Rosemary Cake

A delicious Mediterranean dessert that I am sure you will love.

  • 1/2 cups Gloria® unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup yogurt, natural
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary, fresh chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • lime zest, to taste
  • 1 cup natural honey
  • 5 sprigs rosemary

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C. Grease and flour the cake pan.
  • In a pan, combine the honey and rosemary. Cook for 5 minutes and let cool for 45 minutes.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and sugar. Add the rosemary and lemon zest.
  • In another bowl, mix the egg, yogurt, butter, and vanilla. Keep beating until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  • Gently mix the dry ingredients with the wet ones. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool. Once cool, add the honey you prepared.
