Rose Dessert for Baby Shower

A delicious rose dessert for a baby shower, easy to make and very original. Treat your guests to this delight. This dessert contains strawberries, which are high in vitamin C and folic acid. What is it for? Folic acid is a very important vitamin during pregnancy as it is necessary for creating new cells for both the mother and baby, and it also helps prevent stretch marks.

  • 350 grams strawberries, cut in half
  • 1 1/4 cups icing sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 1/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cups fresh cream
  • 12 petals, edible rose
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cups sugar, superfine
  • 1/2 cups water of roses

  • Puree the strawberries, ½ cup of powdered sugar, rose water, and vanilla bean seeds until you create a viscous mixture.
  • Add the heavy cream, the cream, and the remaining powdered sugar. Whip until soft peaks form. Add the strawberry mixture and fold gently.
  • Divide into 12 cups and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • For decoration, take each rose petal with tweezers, coat each one with a little egg white, and sprinkle with superfine sugar. Let dry.
  • Decorate each cup with a rose petal.
