2 pieces of bread, country-style
400 grams dulce de leche
3 eggs
350 milliliters cow's milk
200 milliliters whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
150 grams sugar
icing sugar, for decoration

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Cut the bread into slices.
Spread the slices with dulce de leche. Set aside.
Make small sandwiches with the bread you already have and dulce de leche.
Place in a greased cake pan.
Beat the eggs.
Add to the eggs, cream, sugar, milk, vanilla and mix well.
Pour the liquid mixture over the sandwiches.
Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Bake for 40 minutes.
When ready, let it rest for 10 minutes and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
