Simple Creamy Banana Pie

  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 1/2 cups low-fat milk, cold
  • 2 packages vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups whipped cream

  • Evenly distribute half of the banana slices in the pie crust; reserve the rest of the banana slices for later use.
  • Pour the milk into a large bowl. Add the pudding mix. Whisk this for 2 minutes or until smooth. Carefully fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping. Use a spoon to place half of the pudding mixture in the prepared crust. Top the pie with the remaining banana slices; cover it with the rest of the pudding mixture.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 3 hours or until firm. To serve, top it with the remaining cup of whipped topping. Store any leftover pie in the refrigerator.
