  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cups Tres Estrellas® rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • cinnamon powder, for garnishing
  • puffed rice, for garnishing

  • Blend the milk, Tres Estrellas® Rice Flour, cinnamon stick, sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla essence.
  • Strain and pour the previous mixture into a pot. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until it thickens. Set aside.
  • Place the custard in a bowl and cover with non-stick plastic to prevent a skin from forming. Allow to cool for 1 hour. Serve the horchata custard and garnish with puffed rice and cinnamon powder.
