Simple Nut Balls

I used to make this recipe with my grandmother. It is extremely simple and kids will love making it. Perfect for gifting as a treat.

  • 250 grams María cookies, or similar
  • 250 grams nut
  • 1/2 cans condensed milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • Crush the cookies and, in a food processor or blender, grind the cookies until they turn into fine powder. Set aside in a bowl.
  • Do the same with the nuts (Do not process the cookies and the nuts together as the oils from the nuts will cause it to clump). Mix the ground nuts with the cookies.
  • Pour the condensed milk into the bowl and mix everything until it becomes a homogeneous dough.
  • With clean hands, make balls the size of a grape.
  • Roll the balls on a plate with powdered sugar.
