  • 125 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 cups milk

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  • In a bowl, sift the flour together with the baking soda.
  • In the mixer, cream the butter until smooth, add the sugar and mix.
  • Add the eggs one by one, mixing between each addition.
  • Gradually add the flour with the baking soda, and finally add the milk and vanilla. Mix very well.
  • Place the mixture in a mold with liners and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
