125 grams butter, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 cups milk

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
In a bowl, sift the flour together with the baking soda.
In the mixer, cream the butter until smooth, add the sugar and mix.
Add the eggs one by one, mixing between each addition.
Gradually add the flour with the baking soda, and finally add the milk and vanilla. Mix very well.
Place the mixture in a mold with liners and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
