In a blender add the butter with the sugar, add the egg, the essence of vanilla, with the help of a sieve add the flour, the cocoa and the salt.
Wrap in non-stick plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Spread the dough on a floured surface and with a knife cut rectangles of 10 cm x 5 cm and with the help of a wooden stick mark the rectangles to make the holes in the cookies.
Place on a tray and bake for 15 min. Let cool and reserve.
