A delicious dessert to finish watching the Superbowl. Prepare these strawberries dipped in milk chocolate. The flavors balance as the sweetness of the chocolate combines with the acidity of the strawberry, forming the perfect pair for a dessert.
Insert toothpicks into each strawberry (on the leaf side).
Melt the chocolate and the shortening in a double boiler until smooth. Holding the strawberries by the toothpicks, dip the tips of the strawberries into the chocolate mixture and place them on a tray lined with wax paper, then put them in the refrigerator to let the chocolate harden.
Then, melt the chocolate in a double boiler, take the strawberries out of the refrigerator (until the chocolate is hard), and using a toothpick, take white chocolate and start shaping it like an American football.
Put them in the refrigerator and impress your guests at dessert time.
