Sweet Rice Pudding

  • 3 cups rice
  • 2 liters cow's milk
  • 1/2 liters water
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 50 grams butter

  • In a pot, pour in the water, salt, and mix.
  • Then add the rice and allow it to cook until the water evaporates.
  • When the rice is dry, add the cinnamon, lemon peels, 25 grams of butter, and milk; keep on high heat. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and cook for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • When the rice has been cooking for 20 minutes, add the sugar.
  • After half an hour, add 25 grams of butter, and once the butter is melted, turn off the pot for a moment.
  • Beat the eggs with a little milk, turn on the stove to medium heat, and add the mixture to the rice. Mix very well for 2 or 3 minutes.
  • Serve with a little cinnamon on top.
