Preheat the oven to 325ºF. Grease and flour a 22 cm long loaf pan.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and set aside.
Melt the butter and let it cool.
In a mixing bowl, place the eggs and beat them at medium speed until well mixed, add sugar and salt, and beat until the mixture has more consistency and is a light yellow color, about 2 minutes.
Lower the speed and add the dry ingredients, along with the lemon zest, alternating with the cream, finally adding the butter which should be well incorporated.
Pour the mixture into the mold and smooth it out with a spatula, bake for one hour and 5 minutes.
Cool in the mold for 10 minutes and then turn it out onto a platter.
