Coffee tiramisu

This dessert is a classic of Italian cuisine, where it mixes the flavor of coffee, cocoa and cookies soletas. It is very rich and very easy to make, besides that you do not need an oven to prepare it.

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 3/4 cups whipped cream
  • 400 ladyfingers
  • 6 tablespoons water, hot
  • 4 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 2 cups coffee liqueur
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder

  • Combine the yolks, sugar in a bowl in a bain-marie, stir.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes on low heat, stir constantly.
  • Remove the yolks and place them in a blender . Beat until the mixture thickens.
  • Add the mascarpone cheese. Reserve the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream until it forms peaks, 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Add the cream to the mascarpone cheese and stir in an enveloping way.
  • Dissolve the coffee in the hot water and add the coffee liqueur.
  • Wet the soletillas in the coffee mixture.
  • Place in the mold a layer of soletillas and a layer of cream and mascarpone cheese. Repeat the operation until the container is covered.
  • Pour the whipped cream on top and sprinkle with cocoa.
  • Refrigerate for several hours.
