This dessert is a classic of Italian cuisine, combining the flavors of coffee, cocoa, and ladyfingers. It is very delicious and very easy to make, plus you don’t need an oven to prepare it.

6 egg yolks
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups mascarpone cheese
1 3/4 cups whipped cream
400 ladyfingers
6 tablespoons water, warm
4 teaspoons instant coffee
2 cups coffee liqueur
2 teaspoons cocoa powder

Combine the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl over a double boiler, stir.
Cook for approximately 10 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly.
Remove the yolks and place them in a mixer. Beat until the mixture thickens.
Add the mascarpone cheese. Reserve the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.
In another bowl, whip the cream until it forms peaks, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the cream to the mascarpone cheese and fold gently.
Dissolve the coffee in hot water and add the coffee liqueur.
Soak the ladyfingers in the coffee mixture.
In the mold, layer ladyfingers and a layer of cream and mascarpone cheese. Repeat the process until the container is filled.
Pour the whipped cream on top and sprinkle with cocoa.
Refrigerate for several hours.
