Strawberry Cream Charlotte

The charlotte is an easy and very versatile dessert, as you can add various flavors, like this version of strawberries with cream. Take advantage of seasonal fruits and merge two classic desserts into one with this no-bake 'cake', using cookies, cream cheese, and strawberries.   • 4 cups cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Blend the strawberries with orange juice and cinnamon.
  • Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar; divide into two equal parts and set aside.
  • Add the whipped cream and vanilla to one of the parts and mix thoroughly. Set aside. To the other part, add the strawberry mixture. Set aside.
  • To assemble the charlotte, line a rectangular mold with plastic wrap; add a base of cookies, then add spoonfuls of the strawberry mixture and the cream mixture distributed on top; using a toothpick or another utensil, create a marbled effect; cover with another layer of cookies and repeat the process until the mold is filled. Chill for 24 hours.
  • Decorate with cream cheese and slices of strawberry.
