These cupcakes known as Red Velvet are a deep red color and have a cream cheese frosting. Decorate them for Valentine's Day and give them to your loved ones!
With an electric mixer on medium-high speed, beat the sugar and oil until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well to incorporate the mixture. Add the food coloring and vanilla.
Reduce the mixer speed and add the flour in three parts. After adding 1/3 of the flour, add half of the milk. Mix well and repeat until you finish with the flour. Mix the baking soda and vinegar in a small bowl (bubbles will form) and add to the mixture. Stir well for 10 seconds.
Divide the mixture among the cupcake molds with their liners. Bake for 20 minutes and let cool on a rack.
Prepare the cream cheese frosting. Beat the two sticks of butter (90 grams each) with the cream cheese at room temperature until fluffy. Reduce the speed and add 1 cup of powdered sugar. Then add the vanilla and mix well. Add the following cups of sugar, mixing after adding a little. Beat everything until you reach the desired consistency.
Put the frosting in a piping bag and decorate the cupcakes. Sprinkle with red sugar hearts.
