Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place the liners in the cupcake pans.
In a bowl, mix the flours, sugar, and baking powder, ensuring they are perfectly combined.
In a mixer at medium speed, beat the butter (it should be at room temperature and will be easier if you cut it into small cubes before beating).
Add and beat the eggs, milk, yogurt, and vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients to the previous mixture and beat until perfectly mixed, but do not overbeat.
Fill the cupcake liners 2/3 full and bake for about 15-20 minutes; remember to insert a toothpick, and if it comes out clean, they're ready!
For the frosting, mix the butter in a mixer until it is soft and creamy.
Add 4 cups of sugar, milk, and vanilla at low speed until they are perfectly mixed.
Add 2 more cups of sugar and mix until it is light and forms peaks (if necessary, add the remaining 2 cups of sugar).
Store the frosting in the refrigerator until the cupcakes cool; once cool, decorate with a piping bag or nozzle and enjoy!
