2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 tablespoons salt
2 sticks unsalted butter
4 eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
4 cups vanilla frosting, can be purchased

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Prepare a baking dish for mini cupcakes with the liners (this recipe yields 48 mini cupcakes). Grease with cooking spray.
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the butter and beat with an electric mixer.
Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla and beat for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the mixture into cupcake liners, filling only halfway (the cupcakes rise a lot). Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and unmold, allowing them to cool.
Cut strips of white lace to cover around the cupcakes and attach with glue or silicone.
Mix the frosting with 4 drops of food coloring. In the photograph, blue food coloring was used. Decorate the cupcakes with a pastry bag.
