This recipe is very simple, original, and delicious, allowing for creation, addition, and improvisation. The melted chocolate inside, which can be white, dark, or any flavor, gives a special touch to the softness of the bread. It is a quick recipe.
Put the butter in medium pieces and the eggs in a bowl or container. Add, sifting the sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder; beat until obtaining a uniform and homogeneous mixture. (The consistency of the mixture should be somewhat thick).
Once the bread mixture is prepared, distribute it, with the help of a spoon, into the molds where you wish to present the dessert (they can be multiple molds for individual pastries or muffins, or even round molds for small cakes).
Using the same spoon, make a small hole in the center of the mixture to place the chocolate pieces, whether white, dark, or any other of your preference. One variant is to add some almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, peanuts, or oats. Subsequently, add the rest of the mixture.
The oven should be preheated a little before placing the preparation in it, to 190ºC.
Bake for approximately 25 to 30 minutes, until the mixture is firm and has increased slightly in volume.
Once ready, let the pastry cool before decorating, either with a little melted chocolate or powdered sugar.
Finally, serve. It is advisable to offer this dessert or consume it while it is still a bit warm, not completely cold; and it can be accompanied by a small scoop of quality vanilla bean ice cream.
