White Frosting

An easy and quick way to prepare a white frosting to cover cakes.

  • 6 egg whites
  • 450 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cream of tartar
  • 2 limes, its juice
  • 1/2 cups water

  • In a saucepan, combine the sugar, lemon juice, and water. Cook until it reaches the syrup stage (do not touch it, if you insert a spoon or stir, it won't turn out well). Be careful not to let it burn.
  • Place the egg whites and cream of tartar in the mixer and beat until stiff. At that moment, pour in the prepared syrup with the sugar. Note: the syrup is added while the mixer is running. The more you beat the frosting, the stiffer it will become.
