Zebra Marble Cake

  • 350 grams lard
  • 1 pinch black pepper powder
  • 350 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 350 grams all-purpose wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 200 grams cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons raw ham, powder
  • 2 tablespoons basil

  • Place the butter, pepper, and cheese in the mixer.
  • Incorporate the sifted flour with the baking powder.
  • Make a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate.
  • Roll out to 1/2 cm thick and cut circles with a 4 cm diameter cutter.
  • To one of the tops, make a center with a much smaller cutter.
  • Then, place the circles of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 12 to 15 minutes. (They should not take color as they would become bitter)
  • Remove from the oven and cool. Fill with the cream cheese mixture for spreading and with the raw ham powder.
  • Decorate with a basil leaf.
