Marzipan drink with tapioca pearls

  • 2 cups black tapioca pearls, you can also use white tapioca
  • 1/2 cups agave syrup, to sweeten and preserve tapioca pearls
  • 1/2 cups condensed milk, for the marzipan bubble tea
  • 1/2 cups evaporated milk, for the marzipan bubble tea
  • 3/4 cups milk, for the marzipan bubble tea
  • 2 mazapanes, for the marzipan bubble tea
  • ice cubes, for the marzipan bubble tea
  • whipped cream, for the marzipan bubble tea
  • cinnamon powder, for the marzipan bubble tea

  • Cook the tapioca pearls in a pot with enough water over medium heat for 30 minutes, taking care that they do not stick together and that the liquid does not evaporate. Also, consider that the cooking time may vary depending on the size of the tapioca and in the case of white tapioca, being smaller, it could be ready in 40 minutes. You'll know white tapioca is done when it looks transparent, while black tapioca is done when it's soft, slightly transparent, and has increased in size. When the pearls are ready, transfer them to a bowl, pour in the agave syrup and let cool.
  • For the marzipan bubble tea: blend the condensed milk, evaporated milk, milk, and marzipan for 5 minutes or until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Pour some tapioca into a glass, add the ice, pour the marzipan drink and garnish with whipped cream, ground cinnamon and marzipan.
