Cucumber and Green Apple Chilapitas

  • 2 green apples, in cubes
  • 2 teaspoons red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cuaresmeño chile, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon spearmint, leaves, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • salt
  • corn chilapita
  • piquín chile

  • In a bowl, mix the cucumber, green apple, red onion, cuaresmeño chili, mint leaves, and lime juice; season with salt.
  • Fill the small bowls with the previous mixture.
  • Serve on a platter to share and sprinkle with piquín chili.
