2 3/4 cups butter, (280 g) softened at room temperature
3/4 cups icing sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
2 cups pecans, toasted and chopped into small pieces

In a bowl, mix the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract using a spatula. Gradually add the dry ingredients, the flour and salt, and finally add the walnuts and mix well.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes so the dough reaches the right consistency for handling.
With your hands, form balls of approximately 10 grams and place them spaced out on a greased and floured tray. Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C.
Once you take them out of the oven, let them cool and roll them in powdered sugar.
