  • Heat the water in a pot and when it reaches a boiling point, add the anise and cook for 2 minutes. Let it cool and set aside.
  • Combine the corn dough, wheat flour, baking soda, and piloncillo, then gradually add water as needed. Knead until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • Place a small ball of dough on a plastic bag and press to form the piloncillo gordita.
