Bacon Cheese Wreath

The cheese dip appetizer is always a hit at Christmas dinners; this super original recipe for a Christmas wreath made with a cheese dip with bacon, red pepper, parsley, a touch of onion, walnut, and olive is ideal. Serve with star-shaped crackers.

  • 6 packages cream cheese, cut into cubes at room temperature (190 g each)
  • 2 cups bacon, fried, finely chopped
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1/4 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups green olives, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce, Tabasco type
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • parsley, for decoration
  • 1 tablespoon bell pepper, for decoration
  • saltine crackers, for serving

  • In a bowl, cream the cheese until smooth, add the bacon, pepper, parsley, onion powder, walnut, green olive, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • On a round plate, using an ice cream scoop, place the dip, and with non-stick plastic, form a wreath. Decorate with the peppers and parsley leaves. Chill for 10 minutes.
  • Serve with crackers.
