Black Refried Bean Sopecitos

  • 1/4 teaspoons Knorr® Swiss granulated chicken broth
  • 4 cups black beans, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons white onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chile, ground
  • 1 pinch cumin powder
  • 1 cup chicken breast, shredded
  • 8 sopes, medium
  • 1 cup lettuce, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cups panela cheese, grated

  • Sauté the onion in the oil until it becomes transparent, add the chipotle and the beans, mash them.
  • Season with Knorr® Suiza Chicken Broth and cumin. Reserve for spreading on the sopecitos.
  • Heat the sopes in a pan, spread them with plenty of beans and place chicken on top.
  • Serve with lettuce and cheese accompanied by a molcajete sauce.
