Ate and Cheese Skewers

Looking for something practical that can serve as a snack or even dessert? These ate and cheese skewers are perfect for a gathering.

  • 150 grams Manchego cheese
  • 150 grams guava paste, or quince
  • serrano hams, in slices (optional)

  • Cut thin slices of cheese with a sharp knife. Aim for squares of 5cm x 5cm.
  • Do the same with the ate. If you wish, you can make these thicker.
  • Form little stacks alternating a slice of ate and a slice of cheese. Each skewer should have at least 2 of each.
  • If you like, you can add a slice of serrano ham at the end. Present it arranged on a tray.
