Gratinated Canapés

  • 8 ounces shrimp, shaken and drained shaker
  • 2/3 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cups monterey cheese , shredded jack
  • 1/4 cups parsley , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons almonds, chopped
  • lettuce, for decoration
  • 3 chipotle chiles, pickled cut into strips for decoration
  • 1 stick sliced bread

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºC. In a bowl, mix the previously rinsed and drained shrimp, mayonnaise, fresh parsley, and finely chopped almonds.
  • Using a round cutter of approximately 5cm, cut the bread and toast it on both sides in a skillet over low heat so it doesn't burn; take it out and put grated cheese on one of them, then place another slice of bread on top as if making a little cheese sandwich and place it in the skillet for just a few minutes to stick together; take them out and add the filling on top and grated cheese.
  • Now we put them in the oven for just a few minutes to gratin.
