Add the mozzarella and let it marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes
Sprinkle the chopped basil over the mozzarella balls
Cut a cherry tomato in half and place on a skewer first 1 tomato (with the center side facing out), then a mozzarella ball, and finally another tomato with a basil leaf around it
Serve at room temperature. You can add a balsamic dressing for people to dip them in.
