Beat the egg and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover the Camembert cheese with flour.
Dip the floured cheese in the beaten egg and bread it, ensuring an even layer all around.
Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the cheese for 1 minute on each side or until golden.
Once the cheese is fried, place it on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
