Brie Cheese with Bacon

Prepare a delicious baked brie cheese snack with a tasty topping of bacon and caramelized onion. This cheese snack recipe is served with bread and won't take much time to prepare, as you only need to brown the bacon and caramelize the onion in the pan before baking the cheese for 10 minutes. Don't forget to grease the aluminum foil slightly so it doesn't stick and serve it hot so it's melted inside.

  • 1 cup bacon, FUD® pork
  • 2 cups white onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar
  • 1 Brie cheese
  • artisan bread roll, for serving

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Dice the FUD® pork bacon into small pieces and cook in a pan over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and cook with the sugar until caramelized. Remove the mixture and set aside.
  • On a sheet of aluminum foil, place the brie cheese and cover with the bacon mixture. Wrap it up and place it on a baking tray.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is soft. Serve immediately with rustic bread.
